Below is a summary of the employee contributions for each benefit and coverage level. The pay period contributions shown are only a small portion of the total cost. Cortina pays for the major portion of the actual cost. At Cortina, we value the contribution you make to our organization. As a part of that relationship, Cortina underwrites the majority of the expense for your benefits programs. You are required to pay a portion of this premium through pre-tax payroll deductions. Your contributions will be calculated at 17.5% of the monthly premium. The employee payroll contribution is based on the type of coverage selected. Premiums below are shown as a total monthly cost.
